Windsock Village was developed in the early 1970’s.  Presently , there are 115 homes.   Many aviators can taxi right from their home to a meticulously maintained 4000′ grass runway NH69 open year long.  Windsock Village borders the west side of this smooth, level 4000’ x 225’ grass strip.  The field has lights, a 400’ overrun on the south end and can accommodate aircraft up to 12,500 lbs.  The runway is plowed following snowstorms and is usually in use the next day.

Many properties also have deeded beach rights to the Pine Landing Beach Club on pristine Ossipee Lake with opportunities for boating, swimming, fishing and other water sports.

Windsock Village is 2 hrs from Boston, 1 hr from Portsmouth & Portland, 25 min. to Mt. Washington Valley. Close to mountains, lakes, skiing, hunting, fishing, shopping, retail outlets, snowmobile trails, cross country ski from you back door.
